                                  BTT 2010



BTT 2010 Starts the 25 / 3 and finishes the 27 / 3. BTT Long distance starts 26 / 3 and finishes the  27 / 3.

BTT starts in Norråker on 25 / 3 at 11.00 for the first competing class. The touristclass can start anywhere up to 10:30 or after the final race team. The first day is 41 km, ending at Saxvattnet where we will camp for two nights.

Day 2, is 52 km with the start and finish at the camp. You only need to have saftey equipment with you on this day. Start time is determined at the camp site during the musher meeting. 

Day 3 starts at the campsite at 9.00 am finishing in Norråker after 41 km. You will be greeted by the winter market that awaits you at the finish line. 

The long distance class starts on Friday evening at 16.00 and is approximately 100 km with a mandatory checkpoint at Saxvattnet. Restart begins at 8.00 am on Saturday morning for the last stage to the finish line in Norråker (approximately 60 km). Exact distances will be available on the website within two weeks of the start date.

All trails follow the snowmobile trails or similar type conditions, which are labeled according to Esdras rules with red and blue signs. 

Touristclass will have several different options to run the second day, after consultation with the leadership team.

You are responsible for transporting all necessary equipment in your own sled. 

Fjällveterinären from Stromsund will be available throughout the period from Thursday to Saturday.

The Awards Ceremony will be held at 15.00 at the finish line. The race ends formally with an evening musher dinner at 19.00 on Utposten and a lottery drawing from the prize table.

Safety:

Tents (minimum wind-bag), sleeping bag, an ax / knife, shovel, headlamp, Z2 map, compass, first aid for you and the dogs, sunglasses, lighters / matches, food for you and the dogs for every day plus one extra day, change of clothes

Race Class 600 SEK, Touristclass 400 kr

Banquet 120 SEK / person, table drinks included. other beverages are available for purchase.

To join the race, send information via epost to btt@ot-utpost.se or contact Rickard by telephone: 070 398 25 10. Include your name, race class, country or dog club, type of dog: purebred or mixed, telephone and email address, proof of competition license (competition class only).
